2 Sites 2 Licences into 1 database ??
Is it possible, to have 2 seperate sites with 2 licences and use 1 database and have accounts the same on both ?? post count etc not essential, just access with the same name and password !
If theres another way to make my present members also part of another forum that would do. |

Sure it's possible, but you'll have to do some custom coding. There are lots of people asking about this.

Anything possible. I know of 9 boards that share a, over a million, user DB and they run like a champ

That one wouldn't be hard, you'd just have to do a export and import of the user tables. For combining my thoughts would be having different table prefixes on each, then doing a find / replace on any references to Code:
". TABLE_PREFIX . "user Code:
user But that's on 10 seconds thought |
