| Antivirus

Do you guys know a good antivirus? I have been fighting for the past 3 weeks with that vundo. I got Norton, purchased some more, and everytime it is removed, it comes back again. I disabled system restore, did the removals in safe mode .... but every time I open that IE, the malware creates a folder named fcovm in the registry. I have been deleting many times a day, it just keeps on coming ... Did a search on the net, used virtually all recommended techniques etc... If I don't scan PC many times a day, then that fcovm multiplies and in next scan I find sometimes 9 to 11 instances of vundo in registry. I have been deleting internet files and cookies like crazy... I am pretty desperate now.

i never was frustrated about virus... there is none in the Mac environment.. i find strange that you have problems with Norton... but anyway, it is always best to install Norton on a fresh install... so if you can deal with a format (backup everything and format, install windows + norton)... |
