Thread user moderation
Hi! I don't know is it a good idea, but... why we haven't hack for thread moderation?
Example, one user wants to moderate one thread in one forum. but i dont want to made him as a moderator of the forum, i want to make him as a moderator of the thread is it difficult for hack-makers? thanks! |

if you do this, you're handing ownership of the forum over to the thread starters. if they dont like what someone posts in their thread, they'll simply delete it or edit it.

Actually, this is something that you can provide your premium users.

This is actually possible. a switch can be added to the threads table so each thread can be moderated by its own starter... another detail would be to let other members moderate threads depending on admin selection, but it is a new entry to the database too... after identifying who can moderate a thread (thread starter is easy... no need to edit the database) ... you give moderation permission (this become a tweak, not an internal function) to that user... the system will do the check by itself. .. this is the HowTo of the hack... someone can write this in no long. |
