I was wondering how can I have a guest have a confirmation code to register or have a confirmation code sent through email that they enter.

Any mods or ideas how to acomplish this? Thanks

I think this is what you want: vbulletin options > User Registration Options > Verify Email address in Registration set to Yes

No, I just want a code I make up for them to enter either in Registration form or after they registered awaiting confirmation.
