BB Code Vertical Gradient Colors

The idea is simple, but I wonder if it is possible to do it. I sometimes see posts like this and I want do the same thing even to bigger posts or posts which are recently updated and this with a BBCODE which can do this automatically for you maybe with 2 choosen colors and the rest can be generated. Sorry for incorrect english hope u can understand me.
