Could anyone tell me how I can achieve this? - Its something i have been trying to achieve for quite some time.
Basically when a user clicks 'login' a login box pops up prompting a login. ![]() ![]() Any help greatly appreciated |

That looks neat. Very neat, I must say. It should be just some CSS involved, although I don't know what CSS exactly.

Heh. I had a crack at this on my test forums, and I've got the box and all. All I need to do now is to create an image and create a fall-back for those without Javascript.

For the fallback, just use vB's $show[popups] and if false don't even run your code, just show the default login box.

Done. You can see it in action on my website (signature). I may release this if I can get the instructions together

Did you use code from the greybox package? Also, you might want to have it downgrade gracefully. As of now, if you have JS turned off (NoScript in Firefox for me ) then you simply can't log in.

Thanks.
No, it was all my own coding. I am aware of this. It seems $show['popups'] is always true regardless if JS is enabled or not. I tested it myself yesterday. |

$show['popups'] is working fine for me. I tested it just not. It's false when I disable JS in my browser.
