My first release of anything on here, so hopefully everything goes OK :erm:.
Very simple grey and blue syle.
Works with vBAdvanced.
0 template edits version - no worries about vB updates or mods.
Optional template edits - automatic or manual, see first post. XHTML Valid.
No linkback to my site, or style copyright placed in the footer.
PSDs of Header, Navbar and Buttons included.
I mainly decided to create a style because I wanted to learn a bit more about how vB works and improve my Photoshop skills. I hadn't originally planned to release it, but when I finally did I thought, why not? If just one person installs this then it was worth releasing, if no one does () then at least I'll have improved my knowledge of vB and Photoshop a bit.
Please note: The live demo contains some (minor) header and footer template changes. The unedited templates version (the one zipped) can be viewed in the screenshots.
Installation
Where FORUM ROOT is ROOT directory;
1. Upload the "Simple-Grey-Blue" folder to your ROOT directory.
2. Import "simple-grey-blue.xml" or "simple-grey-blue-template-edits.xml".
---------> ADMIN CP --> STYLES & TEMPLATES --> DOWNLOAD/UPLOAD STYLES --> IMPORT STYLE XML FILE
- Option of 3 template edits added (with additional images), seen screenshots attached for comparison.
- Only upgrade if you want the template edits, otherwise don't bother .
- Details of template edits found within "Read Me.txt".
Thanks man. Perfect design for what I am looking for.
Had a couple issues though. The upload folder had all the folders capitalized and it also seems to be missing some stuff. I fixed the upload folders and got the buttons and icons. But now it just seems to be missing stuff.

Sorry, my fault for not thinking of this scenario. As your forum directory is different from your root directory, follow the vBAdvanced Users Only (now called Where FORUM ROOT is not ROOT directory) instructions. It appears only the gradients (main-css folder images) are missing from your forums, so doing the extra 2 steps in the instructions should fix this . I'll update the Read Me...
If you've used my style then please mark as installed .

The shoutbox not showing is to do with the shoutbox mod itself, rather that this style, but none the less;
1. If the mod requires manual template edits (or the automatic edits don't work) then you should find instructions on how to do them yourself within a "Read Me" file contained within the zip you downloaded.
2. The mod may require that you set user permissions in order to be able to see the shoutbox. If that's the case, try ADMIN CP > Usergroups > Usergroup Manager > Edit Usergroup and see if there are any options for it.
Hopefully one of those will work for you, but if neither do, post for help in the thread of the shoutbox mod. It is more likely that the author of that mod, or other users of it, will be able to help you further.
I'm glad you like the colours of my style and thanks for marking as installed .
