What Kind of RSS Tactic is Better for SEO?

1) Use RSS with something like Carp to display headlines and link out to sources. Only headlines get indexed.
2) Use built-in vBulletin RSS tool to display full news stories as threads and get the whole content of news stories indexed

What's better?
