I'm not a native english speaker and can't understand who is Tachy and why he goes coventry ?

No-one knows the exact reason. The dev who made the feature says it's personal

coventry: where everything is peace...

mix both: ... you go to the coventry to calm your nerves

Sending someone to Coventry is just an English phrase that means you are ignoring someone.

I understood that Tachy was an actual forum user somewhere that needed to be ignored ........
