This will enable you to link to your forum rules, showing exactly how it shows at the time of registration.

Import the product, and use this link to access it

/register.php?do=showrules

And you can use this code to add it to your navbar:

I find the explaination of thee mod poor. I'm guessing it adds a 'rules' link to your navbar? and if so what templates need to be edited specifically for a link to appear. Thanks.

It doesn't add a rules link to your navbar, it creates the page, the link you put anywhere you want. If you want to add it to your navbar, edit the template "navbar".
