How to make users have a certain post count before they can access a forum

Is there a mod for that or a hack?
please help..

i know someone knows this, can you help

you have to create a new usergroup...

then create a promotion

so that when a normal user gets 10 posts say thewy move into this group

then u set the permisions of the forum to this user group only.
