A few template change questions

I'm changing my current template and had a few questions, I'd appreciate any help I can get. Thanks in advance

1.) How do I change the background color around my forum. It's currently grey. I'd like for it to be white all around the area.

2.) I have two main forum categories with 3 forums in each. On the area on the front page where it lists the forum categories (i.e. on my board are "Main Forums", "Specialty Forums", how do I change that color?

3.) How do I add two pictures on my header? It currently has just one which is justified to the left. I would like one justified to the right that is smaller.
