converting apostrophes to \' in own BB code

I have some problem.
In my bbcode i'm using {param} as javascript parameter. The problem is, that {param} sometimes contains ', and it closes parameter to javascript function, so i need to convert it to \'. Can someone help me with this?
I guess it needs some simple mod, but i don't know how.
