Hide unactivated members from all but admin
I am fighting the spambot battle, like a lot of us, and I HATE IT when someone(thing) who has registered but is still supposedly inactive shows up as the newest member on the home page, clickable disgusting profile and all. They shouldn't appear to anyone but admins until/unless they are activated.... am I missing something? Hiding guest activity on who's online doesn't help this and I can't seem to find any setting that will. I have the usergroup set to not display on member list, either.
Thanks in advance - seems like this should be easy to correct but it's making me crazy! PS in case this thread comes up in search for someone else looking for this feature, I made the font markup for all guests white, which makes it very hard to see on my forum. Best thing I can come up with, for now.... *If you agree this is a needed feature, please say so here and at vb.com in the similar thread I started there and maybe we can get some help Karen {Fully Updated and still searching - Running Vb3.6.8, CMPS 3.0, and VbGallery 2.3} |
