Advanced Critique Encouraged
Hi! I am working on a style for my forum and I need a few oppinions about the beta version of my style. The forum is for a romanian gaming community (for Counter-Strike players), but I don't think I'll be doing any translations except maybe the FAQ. However, the content is Romanian only. What do you think about the style so far?

Your header image is considerably large 60KB, your site also doesn't seem to load that fast so that isnt helping anything. The frontpage does not pass XHTML validation, even if you ignore the first error: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=ht...Inline&group=0
Consider trying to optmize your sites images and then fix the xhtml errors. |

Thanks for directing my attention towards the validation errors. I'm embarrassed as a webmaster to have neglected this aspect of the style. Validation errors are now fixed, except for the
HTML Code:
<html dir="ltr" lang="en">
The slow loading is due to my host wich is currently undergoing an upgrade I think. The romanian ISP's have good peering with my host, but international clients have reported slow traffic and loss. There's nothing I can do about that, since I am not going to be changing my host any time soon. The header image is extremely large, thanks for the observation. I've tried every form of compressing that header without any loss of quality, but without any luck. I'll seriously consider re-designing my header image. |

You can use the 'Replacement Variable Manager' to temporarily solve that problem.
