Guys i just launched a new forum bimmerpages.com and my designer went MIA and I am just learning all this VB stuff b/c I have to now as the forum owner!
how do I add on the registration page and extra word or security code or # people have to enter to stop spammers from registering ? Thanks so much in advance all! |

Perhaps you do not have GDLib installed?
There's a lot of plugins that have spambot countermeasures. Some of them are during the registration process (NoSpam!) and some are after the registration process. I'm developing a plugin that scans the first X (usually 1 or 2) posts of a user and look for "clues" that might make the user a spambot, and then it takes certain actions. |

Send an email to your host requesting the installation of GDLib.
Some of them keep it off for security reasons |
