Keep a forum maked as read

I need to keep all messages on a forum marked as read. I need this for a couple of forums, espiecially the ones that are populated by RSS feeds.

Is there a way to do this? Maybe a simple modification to comment a SQL if a message is posted in certain forums?

Daniel
