Options to show post that is 2 or 4 or what ever days old?

Is there not a options like the search.php?do=getnew, but where you can specify like yesterday, 5 days or a week back.
So that the users can see post that is xx days old? We have many users that cant keep up with the getnew, before they are at end, the getnew is no longer valid, so they cant see the other posts that was on like page 5 on the getnew fnction.

Would like a:
New post (search.php?do=getnew, just like it is now)
Yesterday (with the future that it shows post that was from yesterday and forward)

Yeah you get the idea and so on you know ?

I think the best that can be done is search.php?do=getdaily which will get posts from the last 24 hours. Unless there's a mod that does more.
