ibProArcade Installation Help · **Released**: 08-22-2007

I installed ibProArcade today and I followed all of the instructions but I think I messed up along the way. I have attached a picture of what I get in my admincp when I click on the arcade drop down and I also noticed that if I click on the arcade buttom on my forum I get the same error page. What did I do wrong? Thanks in advance for the help.

is arcade.php in your admincp folder on your host?

I am having the same problem as above. Yes arcade.php is in the admin folder.:erm:
How do you fix this problem.

Does anyone have the fix for the http 404 error? Otherwise I am going to have to uninstall the arcade.

I haven't heard back from the coder yet, but am hoping he will be able to help us. This looks like such an awesome program! I don't want to have to uninstall, either.

I decided to give it one last try myself, and went through the installation instructions again. For some reason, the /includes/xml folder was empty?! Also, even though I am *certain* I uploaded it, the holdsession.php was missing from the forums root folder. I fixed those, then went back and made sure to CHMOD the /arcade directory and all its subfolders to 0777 (check the box to include all subfolders with one easy click). Voila! My arcade magically appeared!

Thank you for such an awesome program and for the immediate response from the coder - I was very impressed by the excellent service and help.

Go back and double check to see if your FTP needs to be tweaked again like mine did, I hope it works for you!

Next you might need this. I also found a ton of excellent games through the site linked in that post. They are remarkably easy to install, thanks to this awesome program! Another thing I had to do was change my FTP upload to binary (I use SmartFTP and it was easy to find in the basic settings with a bit of fishing around). Good luck and have fun!

I need some help!!!!

I can see my arcade on my forum; but I cannot access the control panel to set permissions so I cannot open a game in the forum.

Any ideas on how to resolve this?
