The mod or the style template???

I've just started using vb and I need to add a style template as well as a bunch of mods. But I don't know where to start..... Which ones do I install first? Or does it really matter??

I would advise doing the template and then doing the mods.

Going back and editing a new style after all mods are installed could be a huge pain.
