Description::.
Changs the [Email] bbcode to an image contains the email for securing your members emails
this hack after a long time dishacking vbulletin ..

[Mod Features::.
1-easy yo install
2-works only for valid emails
3-a transparent background to fit your style
4-doesn't save images in filesystem
Disadvantages::.
1-this mod will remove mailto: feature in email links]

Installation::.
1-Import The Plugin.
2-Edit file includes/class_bbcode.php
find:

return "<a href=\"mailto:$rightlink\">$text</a>";

replace it with:

return "<img src='misc.php?do=email_dev&email=".base64_encode($rightlink)."'>";

although its pointless to do this you could still have the mailto: link enabled by using this

EDIT:

if used with this hack https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...=replace+email

you can still let people see your email addy but it then creates a link to PM you. So email harvesters don't get your email and people can still contact you in many ways.

@ Neo_obs: the maid goal of this hack to stop email collectors who uses scripts to collect emails to make a spam list, so he can read the page source and get the mail from the link ..
