On my site www.schuelercommunity.com I have combined the script handshakes with vBulletin to get a real community site with many features.

the only thing i can say is that the style of your forum will need to fit the rest of your site, which is just great actually... clean, light, simple... good site!

yes, i'm still looking for a better fitting vB-style but I couldn't find one.
