i was update my vb to a newest version
after rename config.php.new to config, i accidently deleted my old config.php how i don't know how to edit the config.php.new .. i forgot my info in there such as databasename, how do i get it back? |

if you have a backup use the config,php file from that if not then find the info via your hosting company. you should find the database info within your mysql databases section

Okay, if you are using CPanel, you could try looking for your database under MYSQL (click on the MYSQL option, and it should list used databases and users). I have no idea how you could find your password for the database though. Of course, as long as the database is the same, you could possibly try creating a new user, adding them to it and setting the config file to that user. I think that would then keep forum data.
