little problem with header image at 1280x1024

the top image is appearing way next to the logo
can anyone tell me what variable to modify to make it fit?

I'm guessing your trying to make it fluid, in which case the images you have are too small and don't repeat so you'll get gaps. You could just save the header as one image and set it in the middle instead of splitting it in 2.
