Is it possible to set the security so that:

The whole internet doesn?t see any, only a login screen (no signup allowed).
A few predefined ip addresses are allowed to show the board read-only (and the sign up)
A authenticated user may see everything and may reply (whatever ip orgin)

And how does the .htaccess know if a user is authenticated. If a user can authenticate, he/she may access the board from anywhere on the internet.
