Export settings in vB
I was setting up the developmental vB board allowed by my license, when I started thinking: 'why can't I just import the settings from my main board?' Apparently, saving the settings while in debug mode just provides the defaults, not the current settings. Is there any way I can just copy my settings over, instead of trying to replicate everything? Thanks.

Go to vBulletin Options -> Backup / Restore Settings
This works without adverse effects |

As I was saying, it saves the default settings. =/

No it should save you settings for the majority of options.

Really? It didn't for me. The guy who replied to my support ticket said...well, here's the whole thing:

Wayne seems to be wrong here, or he misunderstood the question.
Exporting should export the current values for most settings. There are some settings "blacklisted" that are never exported (mostly values that are dangerous to export, like local paths to the board). |

It worked this time...I guess it was a one-time thing. Thanks. =)
