Access to $post[] array within postbit_display_start

Is this available? It appears to be empty.

I want to access the information in the $post array from within a plugin, but individually for each post.

I'm really sorry, I just realised my mistake, caused by a sequence of events, starting with me using the template in the wrong style!!!
