I want to allow guest to view attachments in the same way registered users do. On my forum they currently get a list of attached files where registered users get to see a preview of the images and open them as well. I want to allow guests to see the preview at least and I would prefer to allow them to open the full version as well.

I am not 100% sure, but I think this can be editted in usergroup options. Just edit the Unregistered group.

Check under the [3.6 ADD on MODS] section, And look for Thread Attachment Images, browse through that thread, and you will find a code, which allows you to let guests view attachements. I'll look for it, but I did'nt save the page for this.

Sorry to waste your time. I guess in the user groups manage I missed the simplest option on the top of "Can Download Attachments" because I was looking only in the "Attachment Permissions" rather the forum permissions where it is.
