Default New thread post views while in a thread

This was requested by a member on my site, and within hours, almost every member who replied could see the benefit of this request, and so could I.

I have searched everywhere, but couldnt find it, so here I am, requesting it. I will copy and paste what they wrote:

Well, I think that is is a pain, for all of those extremely active posters that look at all the threads that have a new post in them within the section their posting in and then post in each thread, then go back into the section and view the section again for any other threads with new posts with them.

Example (This is not real): 17 threads in the MapleStory Hacks/Bots/Tutes discussion section have new posts in them (Thus they are bolded in the section while you view the section). BleachNaruto starts posting in these threads, and reading many of the other posts within them. It gets rather restless doing the same routine/steps/procedure, whatever you want to call it:

1. Open up thread with new posts
2. Read all the new posts you see
3. Post a reply to the posts you think need replies to (Sometimes it is 1, sometimes it can be as many as 10 or more!)
4. Submit your post
5. Read your post to check that it is legible and that you have made no errors in it (...well at least thats what I do)
6. Go back into the section
7. Check another thread that has a new post in it
8. Repeat steps 1 - 7 until you finish with all the threads that had a new post in them

I'm sure that extremely active posters feel a bit restless after this, although they finish it up because they're dedicated to their section and want to express themselves thoroughly!

So what is my suggestion? Well simply, it saves time for these people and it's very simple to view the new threads.

My suggestion is that at the bottom of each post under the Submit New Thread/Preview Post buttons (The 2nd ones, not the 1st ones beneath this) that there be an area that shows all the threads in that section that have a new post in them. So you can easily scroll down, click on the next thread your ready to view, and move on! It's a lot faster the way I think about it, and I think many members would enjoy this feature added!

EDIT (An edit to the thread): another thing thats nice would be that below every "Quick Reply" in a thread that the threads with new posts be viewable there, so if the poster is not going to post in that thread he/she can check the other threads quickily and post in them.

I would like your feedback on this, also I understand that 1 or 2 people might say "Thats nice for all those lazy bums that are to lazy to click something" refrain from saying that, I already know of that.
and a reply from another member who included a pic.

I kind of get what your saying:

When looking at a thread that may have a new post you can usually submit a quick reply to it, after that you have to go all the way back to the regular section and then check for another thread with a new post.

But if GzN implements this idea you can then read the thread and if you don't see a reason for you to post in that thread, you can still scroll down and under the Quick Reply box it would have a list with threads that have had recently new replys, thus eliminating the extra step of going back to the section then looking at the new thread. This idea can help shave off seconds and all of the seconds that it saves you gives you more time to reply to more threads. Thus helping more people get more help and answers!

Atleast I think that's what your saying.

EDIT: I think this is where Bleach would like this idea to be implemented.

I think it would be a good idea, to show the latest x (5) threads with new posts related to that forum, at the bottom of the thread.
