Default My Admincp Backup and my mysql Host backup through cpanel are different sizes. why?
backup through the admincp on vbulletin for my site = 55.6 MB

mysql backup through cpanel with my host of my site = 48.2 MB

shouldnt they both be the same?

Humm I think thats usual right? I get the same thing. I don't use the VB back ups at all. I use my admin hosting CPannel for all my back ups and download them through the ftp.

Depending how the file was save as, it's changes size.

It doesn't because it's how it was saved as.
