Default Backing my database up on my computer

I want to backup my database on my own computer, instead of backing it up to the server holding my vBulletin forum program. VBulletin has ./forumbackup-07-13-2007-3c8cb.sql as the default entry, but I want to store on C:\Documents and Settings\Desktop and from there I will move the backup file to where ever I want to put it.

Can I instruct the Admin CP to do this?

You can download forum database backup using your Hosting ControlPanel or using phpmyadmin.

If you want using vBulletin Backup feature than you will need to goto

admincp > Maintenance > Database Backup > Database tables to include in backup

Select all tables and press the GO button

it will ask you to save vbulletin.sql at your computer

How do I change it to download the backup file to my computer and not the server. If I type C: then it looks for a C: drive on the server and not my computer.

You can not use this feature to save the file on you PC. To download the backup on PC you need to use the above feature of it "by selecting all tables"

Okay, I backed it up using the "Database tables to include in backup " option at the top, and then the "Backup database to a file on the server" option in the middle.

I noticed that the backup files are different sizes. The one I backed up using the "Database tables to include in backup " is 3.93 MB and the one I backed up on the server using the "Backup database to a file on the server" option is 4.74 MB. That is a diffrence of 0.81 MB. Is that normal? I did select "All Yes" on the "Database tables to include in backup " option at the top.
