Mark Thread Read in New Posts / Today's Posts
Can't seem to find what I'm looking for.
What I'd like to be able to do is have search pages (new post / today's / etc) with thread listings show a link to [Mark Thread Read], kind of like [Mark as Uninstalled] here with Mods you've tagged. This way people on my forums can mark a thread read and have it either disappear or lose the bold (depending on if they're viewing new posts or today's posts - i'm using DB marking not cookie timeout) by clicking a link near the thread title instead of having to go into it. And instead of having to mark entire sub-forums as read when they really just want to mark one single thread read. Is this possible? Can it be done without the page refreshing and keeping the rest of the search intact? Thanks for any help. |

I've been looking for this also, I think it would be a real help for usability esp when I have members that dont read certain threads that could more easily ignore them and not be bothered by them.

That can maybe be achieved with a template edit. But you may get a better response about it if you offer someone to pay to do it.
