How to remove guests (spiders) from "most users online"

Is there a way to keep the "most users online..." from counting guests, especially spiders? My forum has 15 members (just started), so I highly doubt that the 66 users online from yesterday is accurate as far as counting real people.

Is there a hack for this or is it a simple code tweak?
