My friend took over my boards and seems to be having this issue. I told him I would post this for him.

New here so bear with me please. I have enabled all the messages under the welcome header section of administrator options. Yet none of them seem to want to show up. Is there a place I need to activate them I am missing?

Yes he is using the orange/bleu version 3.6.4 version from miner skinz

Does this mean it can not be used do to it being custom?

which hack is he using, post a link to it.

did it require file edits manually or does it have a automatic template edit feature?

if it has a automatic and the templates arent default, then the auto change feature isnt going to work and the edits will have to be done manually.

Try adding this to the bottom of you header template:

$welcomeheaders
