Alright, I know of phpbb board that uses this. They use images for root category titles and I find that very neat. I think it has something to do with <if condition="$forum[forumid]==x"> but can someone tell me how exactly to do this for each root forum category?

There's a hack for this. I don't exactly remember the name though.

Well since we don't know that hack, perhaps you know how to do it manually? I'm not speaking of category icons but the thing that's at http://spjall.vaktin.is
I found this hack though, perhaps it is possible to modify it so I can add image instead of color to the root categories?
