I like the name, but way to many empty forums.

I dig the skin, it's unique looking (I haven't seen it before, anyway), as well as the color scheme. No mods is right though, you have waaaay too many forums for a brand new site. Even with a couple thousand posts, they'll be so spread out your site will look to be very slow since you'll have so many forums with very little activity.
I'd try and slim it down a bit, at least until you get some consistant traffic. |

Thanks a lot, it juuuust opened (as in put on search engines) but I must say it's growing nicely!
Members: 40 Threads: 109, Posts: 687 which is by no means a mega super duper hit, but hell I'm happy, as the members are very good posters. Right now I'm in the phase of bringing in educated pet owners to help others. So it will be slow at the beginning, while I build up the "educated pet owner base".. So you think I should cut the forums down to 1 per pet for now? Could you please give me a reason. I'm assuming to make it look nicer. I know some of the forums are empty, currently working on getting moderators for those forums. Some of those pets are kinda rare.. so... Anyway, thanks! The front end will be made php based off the forums, once I find a reliable way of doing that.. cheaply and easily. :P |

Perhaps if you did some basic research and posted an artical in each forum on each type of pet you can to get the conversation going. I hate seeing a forum that shows that it has never been posted in. Or ask questions and get some conversations rolling in your empty forums.
Also I noticed that your Cat forum in not there on your main page with the other animals. Its on the side bar thing but not down the center. Being as cats are right up there with dogs in popular pets make sure to put them up there. Meow! |
