Forked threads for 3.6?

I'm looking for a way to fork threads / split threads for threads that get off topic, the 'Fork Threads' mod seems to only be maintained up to 3.5 RC2?

I would be willing to pay to update this mod to 3.6.7 and help give back the to community for a mod that seems to be needed but has nobody to update and maintain it.

If anyone has any ideas or is interested, please PM me.

Yeah this was what I was thinking about. Sorry I forgot to post the link to it.

I've yet to try it in 3.6.7 but it seems like there have been some hook changes that would need to be changed. I'd love it to have like a 'trackback' type system implemented so that we could split topics up that might come up without derailing the original thread.

Well, if I could get permission from the author to upgrade and release (if thats something I feel I can do, I dunno, I haven't looked at it yet.) we'll see where else it could go.

Well, from the looks of it, it should work with 3.6.7+ It's only 1 template, 1 plugin, and 3 phrases, all of which should still work and be compatible with 3.6.7+

It's been so long since it was even touched I didn't know for sure. I'd still love to see the features that people requested in that forum implemented, if you feel its something you could do, that would be cool.

I think as far as usability and moderation this type of mod would help a lot.

This would definitely be helpful if this could be updated. I just wish I knew how to do it.
