for the price of the result, this tool is better than if you pay a company that will post on your site... (pay for posts) ...

i tested this script lately, and the result was not bad... the next version will be more flexible and the results will be more useful for a real forum... the new version for vB was coded by a very performing coder from here... (can't write the name!)... and the release is due to last week, so i suppose the guys will release it soon!

fake users, fake posts, even shows the users online, fake is fake no

actually, ico-content is NOT about fake content or fake users... it is grabbing the content of answers.yahoo.com and that's the exact same way as you'd be transforming a forum with RSS content...

a tool does not require a vB.org approval to be performing... actually, it is one of the great coder at vBulletin.org that built that tool, and the latest 1.5 version for vBulletin 3.6.x is just amazing... instead of importing threads and posts in batch, it makes posts coming spontaneously like if there was real life...

anyway... the idea that vBulletin.org is the place to control scripts creation for vB is just sh*t... this place is for free share, not commercial share. a lot of commercial sites are building vBulletin stuff and the coders that do these scripts are not bound by the vBulletin.org limits of non-promotion of commercial acts (like me anyway)... they do better tools because they are paid for it.

what do you want to know ?!... because like in each commercial release, there is pros and cons... if you do not ask questions, you can't have answers...

oh, and actually, vB.org is not the place to discuss commercial scripts... it was indicated lately.

I beleive you stated in another thread that you where involved with the project at the beginning. as stated on my post I want to hear from impartial people that have had nothing to do with the project.

I hope you do not take offense, There are complaints at DP on the mod, lack of support and development. SO I want to hear from the regular users, what they think of it and how it is working out for them.

Again I am looking for unbiased opinions on this.

DP ?!.. what is DP ? Digital Point? they are the ones who created that script from the start...

and actually, since the takeover of the script by Hambil, the support is not on DP, but here:

there was not a good support on the script from the begining, but Hambil and the others are answering properly for each requests and reports...

working on a project does not mean we have biassed opinions actually... i'm not a coder of the tool, just someone who is testing and working with the coder to find the bugs ...

and you will not have any client opinion here... if i check correctly, we are on vBulletin, not on the Ico-Content official forum... this place is not for commenting about commercial releases, so from this on, the only opinions you will have is the less of what we can call a good review of the product...
