I have a forum with a custom skin with about 500 users only 20 active at a time.
I'm using 40 percent cpu specifcally displayforum.php is using that spu any ideas?

Is the load from Apache or is it from MySQL? It could be a lot of things. I've seen mods and other things stall PHP scripts. If Apache is not configured correctly this can create a lot of issues.
