Add WYSIWIG Buttons

I'm using the advanced syntax highlighting mod which allows tags to be used to highlight syntax using GeSHi. I'm just wondering how I add a button to the WYSIWIG panel (like the code button) to add these tags around the selected code and pop-up a box so the user can type in the language they want to use (like the hyperlink button).

Any ideas?
