New user not allow to post

I am in need of a modification that dont allow new user to post new thread( or reply) in specify days ( like 1 weeks)

Since there's bunch of jerk just came in and post virus to my board.

Any one know of this mod?

just use the default promotion system to move users into a new usergroup with appropriate access after a however many days. no need to hack your board to accomplish this.
