Custom Error Pages
I know you can edit the Error Page a User views when he tries to access a restricted feature. But is there a way you can show a specific page for specific error. What I'd like to do is create an error page for a particular forum.
Another thing I was hoping to do, was maybe redirect a user to a particular page. Maybe even force the user to review an FAQ page first. The reason I want to do this, is I have a permission based forum with very specific guidelines for posting. I'm needing to make users join the public group before they can post there, but I need to force them to review the FAQ on that section first and foremost. Stickies and Announcements don't seem to be doing the job. Any info is appreciated. |

The way that the errors work, it would be hard to do what you want, except by a javascript redirect in the message text.

Ah, thanks. I think I understand. I was under the impression, though, that javascript could only be added to the header template. What would I need to do to conceal it in the message text?

You shouldn't need to do anything special. The browser should recognize the <script> tag anywhere in the page.
