Default Another story of abuse

I've been doing some work for a vBulletin customer lately, who told me I am the third (or fourth) coder they'd hired from this site. The first three left them near broke, and with a board that doesn't work right. They went from having a profitable business on the rise, to losing many users and sponsors.

I am doing my best to turn things around for them, and help pick up the pieces. Just a reminder that the continued refusal of Jelsoft to support even the simplest of measures for commercial work here at the org is hurting their customers, not just us honest developers and designers.

I back you up, they should definately have a system of trusted coders and developers that people can trust so they don't have to trust a random person they know nothing about. The hackers would be determined by vb.org staff, basically by instinct. Very active in the community, somewhat coding skills, and just an overall good person. It's tough to find "work" you could call it when there are this many scammers around, and it's even tougher for the customer. I couldn't agree more. Its hurting honest developers and the people that support you, Jelsoft, by buying your product.

isnt it funny that what goes around comes around.

in 2007 hambil is sticking up for the rights of the user to be able to get a good honest service that will not leave them in the lurch.

one year on hambil is no where to be found and all the people who have bought licences for icocontent are left high and dry.

icomotion (strangely although i spoke with them 6 months ago) broke up two years ago apparently. the site where i might have got my licence from no longer exists nor does the support forum which got transferred to catnine.

So Hambil i call on you to eat your own words and give me the refund on the three licences which i bought from your doomed plugin.

And as for ICO motion. you really need to plan out a story which stays straight every time you tell it. I work with liars every day and yours are so transparent.

you come out with all sorts of crap about the business being sold etc etc but all your really saying is "tough shit pal. we dont have to give you anything "

selling up to someone who then has a heart attack followed by both websites being taken off the internet. wow what a stroke of bad luck for us users eh???

or maybe its just a setup by you to not have to support anyone now you have made your money.
