Information About Site Visitors

After looking at loads of sites I have noticed that loads of them have a min of about 20 guests on at one time and I wondered how most people do it, My site opened about 2 weeks ago and I really need to try and advertise it better.

I have vbSEO installed and I have my site in google and Yahoo but what else is there to do?

I understand that without a little bit of hard work you wont get the results.
