restric hard deletes

How can I make it so that global moderators (which are set up via "super moderator") can NOT physically remove posts. I just want them to be able to soft delete.. NOT hard delete.

I would like this myself. I'm sure it's an easy template change, but I'm a bit tied up right now.

You can edit permissions of individual super mods in the admincp. Under forums and moderators/show all moderators

You cant set this from the mod group, you need to use an <if> statement around the link in the templates, set the if statement to only allow admins to view the link itself, this needs to be done in 2 or 3 templates if i recall right.

I know this is an old thread/post, but a prime example of the search function working properly.

Thank for pointing this out; after all the work I've done with my vB over the last 3 years...and with all the versions of 3.6, I never even seen this function.
