error

Hi, I've just installed as instructed and im getting an error when i try to run the arcade:

mySQL query error: SELECT arcade_access, p_require FROM usergroup WHERE usergroupid = 1

mySQL error: Access denied for user: 'mysqlusername@localhost' (Using password: YES)
mySQL error code:
Date: Tuesday 15th 2007f May 2007 11:54:32 AM

Now i know when i recently installed VB i had a database problem and apparently it was to do with my hosting (ICDSoft)
They told me to change a few lines in my config.php file (mysql to mysqli) and to make a .htaccess file (AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .php) in my root.

Im guessing this has somethig to do with it?

I'm stuck, can anybody please help?

Just a quick update, i am also getting this error in all categories within the arcadeCP

well, seems like the script gets a wrong user for accessing the database or this user does not have enough permissions...

ask your hoster or provide AdminCP+FTP via PM and I can have a look on it

Seems like the data its snagging from vbulletin to know how to connect ot the database is goofy.

Maybe doing a "product" overwrite?

Basically grab the product xml file and uploading it in overwrite mode and see if it cleans things up?
