Hide attachments from users
Something for you to think about, I would like to keep a copy of old versions of my mods in the thread, but hide it from users. So just staff and me could see them. So if
I have a problem with a new version I can make it visible to users again and instruct them to use that version instead. |

>> make a second post when you publish and make the post moderated!
everything from it will be hidden... so you can place your old stuff in it |

that's cool, I don't think I can make a post moderated though

if you are moderator or admin, sure.. you select the post with the top-right checkbox, and in the moderator dropdown, you choose "Unapprove Post"...
btw, if you have unlimited attachments for each post, you can choose to unapprove your attachments instead.. but it is a bit awkward in some situations... |

Ok man, thanks for the help, but I think we have a miscommunication here... I'm not staff in vB.org, and I'm talking about attachments in mod threads.

Interesting idea, however, I'm not sure we should be acting as a backup/archive, we don't have unlimited storage. You could just as easily upload the old version as edit settings to make an existing older version visible.
