Need Help Quick

Hey,

I was just trying to move my active users stat from the bottom of the forums over to the side bar but for some reason I can't get the variables to show up in the side bar...

for example..

$activeusers returns nothing in the side column but at the bottom of the forums it shows up.

I am running vBulletin.

All help is appreciated, thanks.
