Need Feedback On My Humour/Entertainment Forum
Hey,
I have created a humour/entertianment forum and it has been up for a short while now. The main thing i'm having problems with is getting members and traffic. I have told all my mates in school about my site but, when I asked why they hardly be on my site, one of them said that it needs to be more open (for guest visitors). I get the feeling that for some reason, in general, they couldn't be bothered signing up for an account. Most of them have accounts for social networking sites and similar, but I can see that this trend is slowly fading out and can understand why they don't want to sign up for accounts on other websites in general. Another problem is that none of them know how to use a forum. Big problem. My target aduience is from ages 14-19 or somewhere arround there, and while most of them can use the likes of Myspace, none of them have come accross a forum before, and getting them to sign up, and understand how to use the site is a problem. As you can see, the layout of the forum is totaly different than your average humour/entertainment website. So, if anyone could review my forum, give some constructive critisim and feedback that would be a great help to me. Also many suggestions on how to make it more user-friendly would be great. My site can be seen here: www.intensehumour.com |
