What's Going On? on Forumdisplay

Is there a way to put the What's Going On? section on specific forumdisplay pages? I'm looking to split my board into three sections.

The original
New section 1
New section 2

The "new sections" are forumdisplay pages, but the What's Going On code isn't processing since it's not the index. Any idea how I can fix this? Thanks!
